Very nice. I have a question (not a criticism, the image is beautiful); when I first looked at it, I thought the snow in the large flat areas looked grey, but then started thinking that it was reflecting blue from the sky. Am I correct?

Yes you are. This was taken on one of our rare (for winter in Northern Michigan) mostly clear-sky days. It's very hard to get snow to look white without blowing out all the details.
