That price is $100 less than Nikon's newest P1000. I would guess that the newest Panasonic is sharpest at its maximum zoom range. As compared to the 3000mm maximum focal range of the Nikon. The FZ1000 version I was very good. This successor can only be better. It should be a big seller. I'll have to compare specs, when time permits.

400mm is enough for most photographers. It would have been a jewel, had it been increased to 600mm, which the Sony RX10iv has with its latest model. But, the Panasonic is still a very good Bridge camera. In fact, all of their Bridge cameras are good. Even the tiny sensor ones.
