Gotta run. My volunteer job for Saturdays is to take a 100 year old man to Church. He is such a nice man. He calls me his angel and who wouldn't want to hear that every Sat. at 4:00.

I stuck an old manual 50mm backwards to the front of my macro lens... "Stacked Lenses" google it and you will get some information, there are also Youtube videos on how to do it... But you have to get really close... that is the only problem, the setup has a set focus point and you have to position the camera to focus the shot.

My set up for macro photography is my Olympus E-520 with 35mm Macro lens, FL36 speedlight on my tripod sometimes but mostly handheld. I have the flashright extreme kit but I am still trying to figure out why the flash is so harsh. maybe I am doing something wrong with it. I also have a pop up flash diffuser my wife bought me on amazon that works pretty well.
I built a light tent out of a collapsable laundry bag and a table cloth. it cost me $12 (I bought a couple of $5 desk lamps). here are the links.

OK, Janice, you can be proud of me; took your advice and forgot about housecleaning and prep for family reunion (for about 20 minutes). Shot these down back in our yard.
