Sigma 180mm f/2.8 Macro lens....
Just received this lens today, I have owned several macro lenses over the years, from the original Canon EF 100 f/2.8 all metal beast then the 100 2.8 USM, the last version before the current of the Sigma 180 f/3.5, the Canon 180L, the Sigma 150 OS, and the Canon 100 f/2.8L IS which I still have..... And all I can say is this Sigma is awesome, big and bad and with a set of extension tubes magnification close to 2:1 with about a 6 to 8" working space.... Just awesome. The reason I bought it is that I shoot primes more than zooms and it just fit better into my lens inventory than my Sigma 150 did... But, I can tell you this lens smokes the Canon 180L, the Canon L is an over 20 year old design and Canon is just not keeping up.
I own one. It's a super lens. Built like a tank and heavy for sure but tack sharp with great bokeh.
Someone gas one for sale in the classified section. Canon mount.

I think that might be the OP selling his 150mm, not a 180mm.

Probably my 150mm which is also pretty awesome, but I have a 135mm non macro prime and just thought that the 180 was a better fit for my lens collection, I have shot with 180's before, they are more difficult to use because of the longer focal length and motion blur issues, but when proper macro techniques are used the 180's or 200's for Nikon users are the cat's meow of Macro lenses, I just would never recommend them for a newbie to macro.
I borrowed that lens at a workshop, last year, and was extremely impressed with it-it's still in my sights for purchase-just not this year. It is definately an awesome piece of glass. I'll get to use one again in April, at another workshop-Sigma "lends" out lenses at certain events
I use the 150mm sigma. Extremely good lens with obvious degradation in sharpness with multiple B&W filters. Impressive lens if just using the hood
I have the original 180 macro Sigma. Great lens!

You would love this lens, I owned the 180/3.5 and traded it with another lens for a Canon 300/4 IS which was a good trade, but I did miss the 180, this new lens not only has OS which may not be useful in Macro but it is useful for closeups making the lens easier to use in the field, also employs FLD elements, this lens is impressive. I would go so far to say that not only is it the best macro lens I have ever used but it stands out.
Sigma has already released a 70mm macro Art lens that is supposed to be really impressive, I don't know if there will soon be Arts in the 150 and 180mm lenses. I can tell you that I own 4 Sigma Art primes other than this lens and they are extremely impressive, it seems that Sigma maybe has finally gotten the algorithm right solving the focusing the problems they have had on Canon cameras. I know that this lens is an older lens using the older algorithm but so far I have not experienced focusing problems.

Ahh, right.
Misread the post by 30 mm.
The lens is the 180mm. I am the poster. Lens is in "as new" condition.

Since THIS is your only post ever, the posted 150mm lens for sale obviously cannot be yours.
