I was thinking that George or Georgette might be appropriate!

THIS bird may have many names....Julie, Frank, Pete, Steve, Pam... many names, but a species only has one (common) name, and one Latin name.

Not true. There may be many common names for a species, thus the need for a Latin name. I'm just being accurate.

As far as this specific bird is concerned, the current common name is Great Egret and its Latin name is Ardea alba, and it has black legs. It was previously known as the American Egret with Latin name Casmerodius albus. The “Great White” Heron is actually a white phase of the Great Blue Heron and its Latin name is Ardea herodias accidentalis and it can be found Southern Florida, and it has yellow legs.

How about I call it a White Bird? Can we all agree on that?
