Don't know if my brother has it, but my dad had a watch that charged with the movement of the wrist.

You're very lucky these have run so long. Contrary to popular belief the Citizen ECO Drive does have a "Battery" of a sort and it will eventually need the "Capacitor" replaced. There are about 2 dozen different sizes and you can expect the replacement cost to be around $50. Unfortunately, most jewelers are unable to replace them as they require a quite a bit of finesse and technical proficiency to install. Factory service is usually the best alternative unless there is an experienced watchmaker you can take it to.

Yes Iโm very much aware of that and so far no problem. I do have one called a "Minute Repeater" that developed a mechanical, local Citizen dealer sent out for repair. Other than that I have been lucky, I bought all of the watches on EBay, some used some new.

They are easy to install, there is a Utube on how.
EBay has them for 21.00 ๐๐๐บ๐ธ๐บ๐ธ
I would like to have a store that sells only batteries of all sizes. The store will be open 3 days per year. The day before Christmas, Christmas Day, and the Day after Christmas. I would take in soooo much money, I could buy myself a Hasselblad H6D. LOL!
I don't remember any specific sizes but Dollar Tree only ( none of the other Dollar stores) has 4 packs of many small batteries.
I stopped into a Tractor Supply Store this weekend. After I had used the bathroom, I wandered around the store. They had some neat tools and some pet supplies. What really caught my eye was a large paper back card that had 60 button size batteries. There were several batteries that were labeled LR44, CR2016, CR2025 and CR2032. I couldn't resist buying 2 cards at $9.95 each.
Try Harbor Freight as well. They sell a full card of different sizes. You will not use them all but at the prices it makes no difference.
As a full time watchmaker I think its great when people change their own watch batteries. I make a fair amount of money repairing them afterwards.
