Regis. Way to go. Another good one. I’m wondering if your shots are of the same eagles through the year. Do you have birds that you recognize in certain locations and do you make the “rounds” when you go? Have you given them names? Joking of course.
Thanks again chief. Your the best.

These are migrating Bald Eagles from northern Canada who fly in from mid-November to early January to feast on our spawning salmon and then they are gone now.
Thank you very much, Lastcastmike.

Wonderful shot Regis. Wish I could manage 600mm without a tripod.

8 lbs. of photo equipment to carry is not for everyone. Using a mono-pod or tripod is good as long as you get a good shot. Use this lens on a tripod to get highly detailed Hummingbird shots as close as 6 feet. This Canon 300 2.8 II lens is razor-sharp. But, it does cost about $6000. Weighs about 5.25 lbs. and is about 10 inches long without the hood, so it's not a large lens. Rent one and try it out for a few days.
Thank you very much, Vicki.

Another fantastic Eagle shot. I can’t help but notice that they always look so serious. LOL. Keep up the great work.
