Very cold and super windy so not the sharpest even with a tripod! D750, 70-200 G2, ISO 200, f/8-16, 1/60-1/320, no frostbite! Used hints from other "Hoggers" Lots of fun!😊
Very cool. Is there a simple way for you to explain how you arranged the images?
Software program? Magic?
Magic! Lol. Nope....it was very crudely done. Lasso tool, cut and paste, chose a black background to hide all the edges and errors. I had the arrangement in my head and just resized and shifted things around till I got what I wanted. Haha like many magic tricks, the setup is simple but the trick looks good! The hard part was shooting in the cold, keeping lens from fogging, fighting the wind, etc! Thank you😊
Wow! Thank you! If my head gets any bigger it's gonna look like that moon! I've seen some composites of the entire event that are drop dead gorgeous! But thanks for the kudos! Much appreciated!
Outstanding! I have to admit, I wimped out and stayed indoors. It was just too bitter cold where I am.
Notice I dont have the 2nd part of the event...wimps unite! In May, 2021 it should be warmer so I'll capture the whole thing, God willing and I'm still on the green side of the grass! Thank you!
Thank you for your exceedingly kind words! I'm a rank amateur. The closest I ever got to a professional photog was a hi-school job back in the '60s carrying his equipment because he had emphyzima. Still have three Pentax K1000s from the 1980s, and got my first DSLR, a Pentax K10, but I haven't taken a photo since the '80s! Time to get my feet wet. AGAIN!

Please do! Take shots in and around your home, of friends and family. People , places and nature...you only need one eye, one finger, one camera and you qualify! So go get those feet wet...2021 is just around the corner! Be well!
