I saw White Pockets in 1997 the first time. We were exploring east of Coyote Buttes just taking roads to see what was there. A few years later and a few miles south east we saw a large rectangular opening arch. There is a lot of neat stuff up on that bench but a bad place to get stuck or lost.

Your photo's are stunning, really great shots.

Thanks much. I am wondering if the area which you reference might be an area in that vicinity called "Red Pocket"?

Yes, they were quite nice. I want to go there!

I agree with the comment about squaring horizon lines. That's usually the right thing to do... unless you are going for an off-balance effect.

I have revisited my choice and decided to straighten the horizon. Bad choice on my part.
