I lost two collies and a sheltie. They were my children and I have never got over losing them. I have another collie he is a dream also. Sorry about your loss I know what pain you feel in your heart.

Thank you for your understanding Mike Fos, I am glad you have a new friend...I am sure he reminds you of your prior furry family and helps to keep them alive in your heart!

Sorry for your loss. Our beloved pets are truly family members (and, more often than not, our favorite family members).

Thank you scatman, they really truly are family!

Thank you all for your kindness regarding my sweet Grrr, your words have helped as I navigate without my furry friend. I still think I hear him and occasionally turn to check on him then I remember he is in doggy heaven. Once again a huge thank you to all who took the time to view this post and to those who sent me words of comfort!

I just saw your post. You gave a wonderful tribute for your beloved Grrr. The responses from other members of the group are also very moving. I lost my poodle almost 30 years ago and he is still in my thoughts and heart. I feel your pain, and love for Grrr.
