Problem I see is the there were only 13 states when these people lived. Now where did the illegals come from?
France owned from the Mississippi west, and those men didn't know of Texas per say and were pretty much confined to the eastern side of the Appalachian Mts in their time.

Funny how the democrats flew in a private jet in PR partying and celebrating the government shutdown with FB, Amazon and other lobbyists from big greedy corporations. At the same time government workers are missing their paychecks. The President was in Washington all weekend working hard for Americans and NOT getting paid. The democrats all got their paychecks (Yes they said not to publicly but they all got paid anyway). Yet the democrats doing parties on the beach while the wall is unbuilt and worse yet having a beach party while those who live in PR are suffering (According to the communist democrats) and these fat cats are there doing nothing humanitarian.

The method used to produce that number are also questionable as they are computed using the number of overstays compared to the number of apprehensions at the border. There is an accurate count of visa overstays while the number of successful illegal crossings can only be assumed.
