This is a very nice photo. I have come to look on fireworks and fireworks pictures as kind of boring, even my own. Sorry. But I like this one.
I live down the street from the high school where the Fourth of July fireworks are fired off so we have a front row seat to them without leaving my yard. As a result I have dozens of photos of them. I will have to try making negatives out of some of them. Thanks for the idea.

BTW, the title of your post is "Fireworks negative images". Since "images" is plural I was expecting more than one.

I had some fun with fireworks taken from about two city blocks away, and then processing to negative images. I thought the colors interesting. Canon 80d, Canon100-400 f4-5.6 @f11, ISO 200, 3 seconds on tripod.

Pretty, looks like wildflowers.

Unique perspective. The 'bones' of the burst are more evident. I really like it.

jbrown, For those of us "challenged" photographers, what does it mean and how do you do, "processing to negative."

Thanks for your note; I thought I had more than just this one. The others I did black and white and were uninteresting

Sorry for the delay. In your post processing software, (I use Corel but any will have this feature) the is a choice to convert the image to a negative. It will be in the same menu as other "view" adjustments, grayscale, sepia, etc.
