The second one - it has more interest as you can see where that road may lead.

The second picture, definitely. It is more complete. The first one seems chopped off.
Although what is chopped off is not necessarily the most significant part of the picture, it still tends to leave one, (in my opinion) wondering what the overall scene looked like.
My vote is for the second one.
The second one is the best. The road catches my eyes and carries them to the mountain range. The brush is a distraction in the first photo. Also more of the mountains in the second one is best. Good catch !
Second. I don’t like the mountains being cut off on the first.
#2.....It opens the scene up and shows more detail.
A tighter crop of the second one.
I think something between one and two would have been perfect.or if the top of the mountains on #one wouldn't have been chopped off ,# one for me.
I like the first one the best. It seems to draw me in more.
As is I prefer the second one - nice sweeping view of the road and setting. The first one woul be an interesting composition if you crop the top more and make the subject the curve of the road with the right bush to add interest.
