Would love to get back to Siem Reap to do a reshoot of this one, but it will be awhile before I return for that project ! On a serious note the larger Hibiscus blooms are tough to take a most angles because of a limited DOF with a close up shot. This flower has gotten me to thinking about getting motivated to do focus stacking though.

Outstanding photograph! I like it a lot. Don't you just hate it when you come home from a trip, download an amazing photograph and then start thinking "if only I had done this or that it would REALLY be great".

There was a lot of incredible flora in Asia that I had never seen, variations of color, incredible size and shape variations..... starting to plan another trip over there.

It has made me rethink my habit of only taking one shot of a subject, much reflection on the cost of digitals vs the cost of getting halfway around the world for a couple of short months.
