I not seen much discussion in a while about the P1000. I finally had a chance to work with it the past few days. Testing the different modes i find it does have potential and am getting to enjoy it. here are a few shots I managed to get. feedback welcome. did some normal cropping and adjustments but not a lot.I love the birding mode.
Very nice series. The camera is doing good for you.
Glad you are getting some enjoyment from your camera. #8 tickled me: yes dear, I'm aware of you too. LOL
Nice, sharp photo's, a photographer can have a lot of fun with a mega zoom bridge camera. I have a very old version of the P1000, the nine year old P100, still use it.
Great pictures, keep it up.............
I have one since they were released in September. I enjoy using the camera as the zoom put me much closer to my subjects. Do you shoot in the RAW format? I saw your bird photos and they look fairly sharp. Do you find that it has some noise in some of the photos. Did you shoot the birds using a tripod? It also has some scenes mode you'll find interesting, good luck and happy shooting
Great series out of that camera Fred.
Great Shots !! I have a P900, bought about 2 years ago. Love It !That P1000 seems to be working great for you. Enjoy !
Looks like the P1000 works well for you!
Don
these were all hand held shots. The woodpecker was quite sudden, used the birding setting. I love experimenting with it. Taking it to the Music City bowl tomorrow.
It's easy too get a blurry shot if you aren't careful. Controls are a bit confusing but I'll keep experimenting and hopefully have it mastered sometime in 2019.
