well the ACA has been sold in my state only to find out that NO doctor or clinic will take the insurance. You should pay attention to more than what Obama says.
Connie
Never heard of that happening. What state you in
Man don't do that too me. I almost spit my asparagus out. Lol
Couldn't help myself.
There are quite a few states that opted out of accepting the program....don't worry though, if Trump is elected he'll take care of healthcare. Right after Mexico pays for the wall and efforts are made to improve our infrastructure.
Well, Trump did say he had a better plan, a less expensive plan, a plan that would cover everybody.
I think the rollout is after the ACA Marketplace deadline though...

The check is in the mail.
As I understand it, the companies with product offerings in the Marketplace are proffering plans with very high deductibles and out of pocket maximums. Like $5000-10000 deductibles.
Any many healthcare providers have opted not to participate, and are not covered.
So the insurance companies are charging annual premiums of $7000 plus for plans that don't cover much till the insured has spent $5000 or more.
Tax payers (you and me) cover much of that premium expense for the low income folks, but they then have insurance coverage they really can't afford to use even if their own monthly premiums are zero to a few hundred per month due to the subsidy which you and I pay to the insurance company for them.
Good deal for the insurance companies.

I ran into Lab tests not being covered by the plan that I signed up for last year, nor a dermatologist.

The only part of the program that states can opt out of is Medicaid expansion. So in states like Florida (which did not accept it) if you are a disabled adult it is almost impossible to get Medicaid assistance. The irony, though, is that Florida still sends lots of tax dollars to Washington which pays for Medicaid expansion in OTHER states!
And the ACA applies to all health insurances. Some do not participate in the exchanges. But most physicians accept these plans.

I get it. The explanations perhaps should be addressed to Connie.

Now, now. Don't get all pissy because many of you who think you are Pubs backed a deceitful liar and love Kool-Aid. Those who continue to back this abomination and embarrassment are the real RINOs.
