Would love to stop by for a glass of tea, and I'm a traitor to my southern upbringing, Tom, and like my tea unsweetened.
You're certainly a rare bird, Donna. I don't know anyone who drinks it unsweetened. I don't use sugar but I put artificial sweetener in it and a squeeze of lemon.
You know what bothers the heck outta me when I order iced tea in a restaurant? If I don't ask, they will not bring a spoon for the tea. When I do ask, 80% of the time they forget it or they take so long getting it to me it's ridiculous. My question to them is: no one has to ask for a spoon when coffee is ordered, why is a spoon not automatically included when bringing the tea? I was in Friendly's restaurant on Sat. and the waitress actually brought an iced tea spoon. Long and slender and easy to stir around all the ice. I actually pointed it out to her that it was an ice tea spoon. She thought it was only for ice cream sundaes. Sheesh!! They all think that a straw is sufficient for stirring the tea - it isn't. How do I fish out the lemon slice she threw in the tea? With a straw? No way. One needs a spoon for that. Don't care to stick my fingers in the glass and try to grab the lemon slice. It's a little gross.
Oh well, that's my mini rant for the day. LOL
That looks like a flood plain to me:(

If it were a flood plain, I don't think they would allow the homes and apartments to be built there. The river is supplied from one of the Finger Lakes.
