Will Fuji X-T2 book work for X-T3

I am getting both a X-T2 and X-T3 Fuji and I am wondering if there are many changes in the menu/buttons. Can I buy a book explaining the functioning of the X-T2 and it will work pretty well for the X-T3? I don't want to buy & read two different books, and there are more options for the X-T2. Recommendations also welcomed. I know recommendations were in a recent thread but I couldn't find it. [I am getting both cameras so I don't have to continually change lenses. The X-T3 gets the 100-400mm and the X-T2 gets the 18-135mm. My Canons get sold to pay for the new gear]

Get Dan Bailey’s eBook, “X SERIES UNLIMITED.” The eBook version has been updated to include the few items specific to the XT-3. However both cameras have almost identical controls and very similar menu settings. I use both, set up with identical settings, (stills only as the XT-3 video is very much improved over the XT-2.)

Congratulations, the T2 and T3 both are fine cameras. I don't think there's a whole lot if difference between the two, one book should be all you need. Then again, I don't shoot with Fujifilm, someone else might chime in. Good luck.

Rico Pfirstinger has a book out specific to the Fuji X-T3 at Amazon for $24.95

https://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-X-T3-X-Pert-Tips-Camera/dp/1681984881/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1544206120&sr=1-1&keywords=fuji+xt3

The camera was JUST released. In time many other books will surface for this exceptional camera.
Meanwhile, the X-T3 book will work well as a guide to the X-T2.

I have Gary L. Friedman's book on the X-T2 and I have his current rolling release on the X-T3. I also have Dan Bailey's book and I can tell you that Friedman's is way superior.

I enjoy both the XT2 & XT3. The two are very, very similar. Buttons, controls, etc. are virtually the same. Output, focussing speed, accuracy of focus, processing speed, video, low light performance have all been to one degree or another, hugely improved with the latest version, however. Once you begin using the XT3 I suspect you may (like me) be hesitant to use the XT2. It is that much better.

Cheers!

I’d love to know where you bought Gary’s book on the X-T2. I can’t find it anywhere. Looked on the Barnes & Noble site, Amazon, and eBay but no luck. Plenty of his books on other cameras, but no X-T2.

I have the X-T2 and based on your recommendation I would be interested in getting it.

Thank you so much! The book looks great, and I’m going to buy the print book version. It will become my new Bible for my X-T2.

I was searching under Gary Friedman, and didn’t realize it was written by Tony Phillips. Also noticed on the site that Gary Friedman wrote a book for the Fuji X100F, which I also have, so I’m going to buy that one also.

Thank you again!
