Small picture opens in Elements 2018

How can I make the picture open in the fit screen view, It opens small and way up in the left corner. My Elements 14 did. I am now using Windows 10. Before I was using 7.

The same thing happens to me at times. I just double click the picture to open it up. Hope that this helps.

Try this:
Uncheck "Allow floating documents in expert mode" in the preferences, general tab. Be sure to click OK

Bill de is correct. I just found out how to use floating documents when I want to.
