These investments are from his, already taxed income. Warren Buffet had the same situation. I believe that Joe Biden listed $300.00 as given to charity.

Nobody is forgetting anything about real patriots who fought and died. I grew up during the Vietnam War and many of my friends were affected, disabled, or killed in it. There is no negative link at all between their sacrifices and people of this country taking advantage of the freedom of speech that they protected. It is a non-subject in this type of right versus left debate.

What we anti-Obama people are doing is just calling the kettle black, except it would be considered racist by Liberals like Al Sharpton to use the word black in the same paragraph as Obama - an unconstitutional suppression of one's right to use specific words of our English vocabulary when we want to and we have the freedom to do so - whether it's used derogatorily or not.

Yet the Black Panthers can use the FCC controlled airwaves to say every foul word they can think of, every slanderous name they can come up with, and tell followers to go out and literally "kill cracker babies within seconds after they're born" to pursue their goals of taking over America. Unfortunately they have the same freedom of speech and nobody will ever do anything to suppress a single word they say with anger and malice.

So it is our right to say that if he talks and walks like a socialist, fascist, communist, and Muslim while acting in unAmerican ways, shaming our country around the world, keeping us in a recession that should be over, spending trillions as though the money tree harvest is endless, telling one lie after another to protect his Chicago cronies, using Executive Privilege illegally, building a staff of Czars to illegally bypass Congress with his decisions, and cutting our military's budget by mega-billions to endanger it, then that's what he is. Just calling it as we see it with the constitutional right to do so.

As John Stossel just said on a repeat show of his today, for every potentially well-meaning government-involved action attempted by short-sighted politicians (and Obama is one of the most short-sighted ever since Jimmy Carter) to improve life for the "seen" they want votes from, there are countless consequences that destroy life, liberty, and freedom for the far more "unseen" who suffer from those actions.

Bottom line - it's not only your politicians who are letting jobs go abroad, many private companies in your own countries are shafting their countrymen & women just so they can get their goods made cheaper in the Far East. Do they pass these profits on - not a hope in Hell.
Not being a political animal I must admit I'm puzzled by these things call Capitalism and Communism.
Seems to me some are just out to make as much money as possible no matter who's head gets stood on.

It's easy for some to forget that we have, over time, become a part of a world market. Not only do our domestic producers have to compete with Chinese producers, domestic Workers must also compete with Chinese workers. As stated earlier on this thread, an American worker with a stated wage of $25hr may actually, with benefits and pension, be costing his/her employer $65hr. If this worker would work for $15hr with a total cost to employer of $35, maybe some of these companies would stay here. In our real world the labor unions would never, ever, allow this.
Why was Bain Capitol able to rescue many businesses from BK by simply lowering labor costs?
Related Topic: Bain did not just go "hunting" for businesses to "prey" upon. Many companies approached them to help them avoid BK. They were hired by the CEO's or the Shareholders, and under that condition Bain was obliged to serve the party they were hired by. Looking a little further, we may find that many people's pension funds were holding stock shares in these failing companies (maybe your Mom or Dad's pension fund). Many times Bain was able to reorganize these companies successfully, sometimes not.
Has the American worker priced him/herself out of the market? If you are a worker, your work is your product, and has a price.
Don't people deserve a decent, living wage? YES...if they're worth it!
