What I have found with many photos, instead of or with using the straighten-tool, I use one of the transform tools. It sometimes does necessitate a bit of cropping, or for filling in, and to get it just right can take a bit of time, but, hey, I'm retired!

It is a great shot, straight is very difficult, the excitement of shooting, and not seeing the sides of the frame in the camera, might be an eyeglass problem for me, I don't remember that problem with my TLR's but in my 35mm, yes.
