Here are a few from the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. It is less than one hour from where I live, so it is one of my favorite spots. The last one was taken at Farmington Bay on the Great Salt Lake in the middle of winter. The third photo is of a pair of grebes doing a mating dance. It is not as sharp as I would have liked, but it happens so fast and only lasts a few seconds that the camera was still swinging into position when the shutter released.
Thanks for sharing this nice set. From the tail and what I can see of the face, #4 is a wren. The specific species is a little hard to determine. It’s really doing the splits there. Maybe should join Cirque du Soleil.
