This is my first time in this forum, and I am not disappointed. Truly stunning captures.
I thank you for the kind assessment of my work. So glad you enjoyed. Welcome to the close-up section of the forum. You will meet some amazing photographers. -Doc
Doc, these are truly great images and your knowledge and sharing of that knowledge with us has been a great aid to me in my pursuit so thanks for sharing both your images and your knowledge.
I really appreciate that Gary. It was the reason I joined this forum. Sharing. Sharing photos, knowledge and meeting some wonderful people. It's also the reason I've stayed with it. I've learned so much from the wonderful people here on the Hog. Glad I could be of help. Anyone, anytime. -Doc
Gorgeous shots, Doc! It's because of you that I've come to appreciate these jewels of the insect world.
Thanks CathyAnn. So glad you enjoyed the set. They have been my passion to share with others. That's why I post in various places and do dragon presentation. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday. -Doc
I extended my dragon hunting season by taking some time out from visiting family in Round Rock, TX. These offerings were shot at Hornsby Bend Environmental Research Center. Nothing exceptional or unusual except it's my first Red Saddlebags. I know a Blue Dasher is like being on a bird walk and saying,"Oh look, a robin." I just like how it turned out. Hope you do too. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving holiday. -Doc
And a salute to you for these beautiful images, Doc! It looks like you had a banner year and hope next season is even better! I noticed a bit of a decrease in this year's dragons, but it could be due to the hurricane and tidal surge last fall.
Amazing images, Doc! Are there some different types of dragonflies in Delaware?
Thanks Sue. Glad you liked them. There are some new species but for the most part they are the same. There are some here that are species of concern but back in PA they are quite common. -Doc
