I have seen 5 at once in August from this year's litter raised in the tree down the block. But I think they are thinned out by the hawks that hang around. In addition to Chief of the Yard Police Tara and her minion Toby (the wife's Shin Zhu) who prowl the yard on a regular basis.

The more I think about gluing a peanut to the feeder the more my inner child/brat likes the idea. I may have to try it.
