Today's attempt at BIF.
Please will someone post a picture of a small BIF that is exceptionally sharp and in focus. I want to see one just so I know it can be done. My choices of birds are Blue Jay, Blackbird, Dove, Cardinal, Woodpecker and Sparrows. All those small critters are very fast and experts at flying into a dark background. I am afraid I am going to wear my new camera out prematurely if I don't get it done soon. It rained most of the day today so I did candid shots of the kids inside instead.
A blackbird is not a very good subject but that's all I could get today. Another takeoff shot.
Little boy likes to give hugs.
A nice way to spend a rainy day.
Big Sister.
Another big Sister.
Little Brother.
wow, I am seriously impressed!! Darryl
Very nice, but then you had excellent models! There very nice shots.

Thank You daythedog!!!! Very nice shot. I am impressed. I am having terrible luck at getting a good shot. I just wanted to see a good one like yours so I can keep the incentive to keep on trying. Eventually I will do it though.

Thank You Cas !!!!!! My models and I have lots of fun.
The little birds are very hard to capture in flight, but a good challenge photographically. This is a riroriro, or grey warbler, often heard but hard to see singing away above your head somewhere in the fields and pastures, smaller than a sparrow. I didn't get the light in the eye, but it was a grey overcast day. Your models look great too, and present challenges of their own I'm sure. Nice photos too. Good luck with the birds
