Click the user name (their blue URL link) and then on the next page, click the list of topics created by that user. You'll be able to find on your own what your asking for.

Yes, it is frustrating to try selling something when no one is interested in buying. If they don't have any interest, more words or better pictures won't help. If someone has an interest in an item, but is unsure about buying it, a lower price might help him make the decision.

Do a search for your lenses on eBay and then go down the left column and click "Sold items." That will give you an idea of a reasonable price.

I believe both B&H and KEH will give you an online estimate of the trade in on your equipment, that way you can figure a selling price, then check their used price for the same equipment, go in between or take the offer.

Should I post more pictures or certain angles, more info....Am I overpriced even with me lowering some?? How do I stand out and sell these so I can get the equipment I want before I am no longer able to use it?? Photography for me is medicinal, I have many things photography wise I want to learn, try and do well at while I am able too. I have loved it since I was a little girl!! Switching over to a FF camera is one of my bucket list items... My health is not the "greatest" and I also have this very titanium spine that reminds me of its presence. The use of my hands and fingers is nothing more than a blessing and nothing I take for granted for anymore! For any chronic pain sufferers out there, do you find photography helpful? Some PT for me is working with the camera and lenses, setting up my shots, editing and doing it all again. I fight hard to ignore it all through my photography. I go for a PET/CT scan and will be there for a long time however I will stay busy reading photography topics and looking at others art work. ANY suggestions about what to do differently would be appreciated. Oh, I don't really want to go to Ebay for this either or use craigslist. Sadly there are those who have nothing better to do than to try and scam others so I am pretty cautious...Thanks!!

You are trying to sell to a very limited, small marketplace. Ebay has millions of shoppers. Here, you are trying to sell to whom; a few thousand who may or may not be looking to buy, much less your specific camera gear? You will find a quicker sale and get more money on ebay if priced correctly. The wholesale house will offer about 30-45% of what you could get because they need room to make a profit too. Good luck!

It is wonderful that your love of Photography is therapeutic for you, granted it will never cure your pain and discomfort, it will be a fun learning distraction for you. As far as your efforts in selling your equipment, sounds like you are doing all that you can do, except inviting someone to your home to physically see your equipment you are selling, which you should NEVER DO, safety in selling is your 1st priority. We as fellow Photographers hope you will succeed in your efforts to sell your equipment, but more importantly, hopefully, if possible, your health will improve greatly which will really add to the quality of your life.

I have sold equipment to Cameta Camera several times and they have offered me the best value on my equipment. They will consider a few dollars more when trading in. A few years ago, I sent equipment in to Adorama after talking with them and they low balled the final offer, not anywhere near what they quoted me over the phone on what they agreed was near mint condition equipment. After considerable negotiation, they agreed to come up on their quote. This is only my experience with them, others may have better experiences. Trading in to retailers, as you know, will almost always bring a lower value than selling outright to a third party. Good luck with your sale.

Yes you should drop your price to very low to sell here or take it to Ebay.

Ebay is a safe and viable way to sell gear. Check the "sold" prices on Ebay and list your gear accordingly.

MPB.com and Roberts Usedphotopro.com will also do that.....that is four quality/trusted vendors that should help. They are re-sellers, so it will be less than you "might" get on Ebay or some other, but much less hassle, fast money transfers, no shenanigans, etc. Good luck with your sale. Stay strong!!!

Bless you. I've dealt with back pain since 1995. It's one of the many reasons I cut my kit weight with Micro 4/3 gear. I got tired of feeling like a rock-and-roll roadie, lugging equipment cases around. (That was fun in college, but it got old when I was an AV producer staging big corporate multi-image, multi-media shows in my 20s.)

When selling used gear, it is helpful to know that gently used gear *in top condition* commands about 70% of *current* new, retail pricing at places like KEH and MPB that include decent warranties on it. When they buy from individuals, they pay around 40% of current retail, or the last known retail price. So... It's very important to check eBay and other sites to see what the gear is selling for there. Don't overprice it. Don't underprice it. And be sure you represent it in its current condition, whether spotless or "beat up and brassy, but functional."

Repetition is important. Repost your ad a couple of times a week, to keep it near the top of the stack. Services like UHH and Craigslist tend to bury old posts under today's posts. Most people don't dig deeply into the postings...

+1 for MPB.

I’ve always had a good experience with buying/selling/trade ins.

B&H Photo told me they pay 70% of the average resale price of cameras they purchase for resale. Others seem to have a similar policy. Hope this helps.

I second that. Correct spelling seems to be a rarity today.
