Wise choice, judging by the sharpness of those photo's, can't beat Fuji X series cameras for travel. That's quit a different perspective of a fountain, must have been build after Hitler.

Fuji X-T2 is an excellent camera, focus acquisition is still not up to far with dslr though.

Fuji X-T3 has the X-T2 beat hands down for focus speed and accuracy. Please read the reviews (DPReview, Imaging-Resource, CNET, B&H Photo, Adorama, etc.).
