As others have said, the latest LR will open the XT-3 RAW files as will Adobe Camera Raw. You can also use Iridient Transformer to convert the RAW files into DNG which Mac Photos should recognize. The best solution might be Capture One Express for Fuji. It’s free but there’s a learning curve. Otherwise shoot jpgs using the wonderful Fuji film simulations. Your Mac Photos program will recognize them. I’d highly recommend getting Dan Baily’s Book, “X Series Unlimited.” He’ll send you a PDF of the very latest features of the XT-3. Enjoy learning about your XT-3. It’s an amazing camera.

Purchased it last night haven’t had a chance to get started on it.

I use Luminar 2018 on my Mac and it opens my X-T3 RAW files just fine. FujiFilm has a RAW software converter on its' web site and it is free. Called RAW FILE CONVERTER EX 3.0 powered by SILKYPIX, it will allow you to save in jpg or tif. Plus it has tons of editing options built in. Enjoy.

It cost $99.00 not free unless I missed the free part.

My Mac has Mojave. I wasn’t trying to up load to IPhoto’s it just popped up on its own. I couldn’t open any files from the camera using a cable from the camera to the computer. The pictures automatically went to IPhoto but no pictures. No files opened on my monitor as they did with my D500. I purchased a card reader today and will try that later. My old reader was for the QXD card. I will look to purchase a program that will allow me to open the raw photos so I can save them to my external drive and Lightroom. I have been to the Fuji site but can’t find their free software. And, Fuji is unlike any other camera company in that no connecting cable was included. Fuji is apparently a “Cheapo”.

SILKYPIX is great. Panasonic bundles it, too. It’s a great raw converter.

I didn’t see any mention of Silkypix in literature so far.

You have come to the rescue and I truly appreciate your effort. Now I have to figure out how to use it.

Thank you

Open it up and click on “Help.” There’s a “software manual” you can open. Not an intuitive program but it does a good job with the basic RAW edits.

Once you know that most companies maintain support sites, it’s a simple thing to use Google to find the company site. Then you navigate menus to find ~/support/downloads/~ (or similar), and locate the imaging software and the firmware updates for your camera.

It took me about a minute, noodling on my iPhone, and I’m not a Fujifilm user.

Have faith that the Internet has most of what you need!
