but do like to upload a file that is large enough for the UHH members to get the true feel of the image. Your opinion is noted, respected, and rejected for the reasons above noted.
I like your pictures and fully understand the reasons why you do not tick the 'store original' box, but as far as I am aware the image that gets posted when we do not tick that box is only a thumbnail and probably less than 100kb no matter what size the file we download? (question)

Love your work. Where did you find the lion that was that tame? The dog I can understand.

Thank you for your comments. As to where I found the animals, it was pure luck that I ran into the guy who owned and raised both of these animals. And the "dog" is in fact a well fed female Artic Timber Wolf. The cougar is male and while it was controllable, I would not call it really tame. He was fine with his owner/handler (off camera to the left), he was fine with me and my model (by the time of the shoot the two of us had spent some with the animals in their compound); however, he is NOT an animal for the local petting zoo.

WOW! Where did you find the model?

Thank you. As to where I found the model, she actually found me; but, that is a story beyond the scope of this thread.

Thanks to all of the other people who looked and commented on these images. For any specific questions, I would invite people to PM me with their email address. I will be happy to answer any and all questions; however, to do so here tends to take away from the images themselves. . .and it almost feels like I am hijacking my own thread. . .(friendly grins)

All I noted about the model besides the fact that she is a true beauty is that she has both of her hands on the animals, and that she is semi standing.
what am I missing?

Your pics are amazing.

Thank you; however, they are nothing that you can't do also, with proper planning.

Well, first you need a model and mine, my wife, says NO way she is posing with a mountain lion! Nice work.

Looks like she is missing her right leg. And the toe on the left foot.

OK, I am almost sorry that I brought up the "unique" thing about my model. Maybe it is not all that clear from the posted image "The Guardian", depending on the viewer's computer, etc.

Like Marilyn Monroe, my model has six toes. . .clearly seen on the large original art prints.
