A touch of color can be a monochrome you find in nature, or something you have layered or selectively colored. November could use a little color! I'll start off with the same roses done 2 ways. I bet you will come up with some good ones.
Colored layer, duplicated and changed to a soft black and white - then barley changed the opacity of the BW layer until it barely showed pink beneath

Same layers only this time, I used an eraser or brush to remove the BW on the one rose only
