If referring to the images themselves and not the card lock, select them and unlock them at which point you can now delete them from the card either individually or via formatting in the camera.

If they were locked in your camera, use your camera to unlock them. It they were locked in your computer, you'll need to use it to unlock them.
Once that's done, don't delete. Instead, put the card in your camera and format it. This simply marks all the data on the card as "okay to over write" with new image files.

If one camera locks them, I bet a different camera can't unlock them. That could be a problem if that original camera isn't available - lost, broken, at home. I never lock them through the camera.

Format the card in the camera I would think that should clear the card.
