After getting my D500 back from Nikon, I headed out to Bolsa Chica wetlands. Using 80-400 Nikon lens.

I'd call that a great day, but I have a feeling your results are due to a lot more skill that a clean sensor. There are some portfolio pictures in that very nice set.

Looks like you had plenty of company. So sad, the cormorant in the middle of the group has a fishing line hanging from his beak. Probably swallowed a hook.

Not only that but there is a lays chip bag behind him. I really hate people who litter!

Don, so you’ve been out to the Bolsa again. I’m sure you’re pleased with the sensor cleaning...but even more with the shots you captured. That coyote seems to be getting very confident these days, coming out frequently in the bright daylight. I’ve seen it 2 of the last 3 times I was out there. Nice set. Thanks for sharing. Makes me want to go out again. 😎

Thanks jak. I've been to Bolsa many times, but this was the first time I've seen a coyote. I noticed you spotted him too in your last post. You had some good shots too, as usual...
