Hand held at 42mm.
Upper Coeur d' Alene River in north Idaho is a great fly fishing experience for trout and a occasional salmon.

Canon 5Dsr - Sigma 24-105 @ 42mm - 1/400 - f/13 - ISO @ 400.

Whoever the fisherman is I am jealous of the beautiful scene if nothing else (well fishing too but where I come from you cast for bass etc from shore or a boat, with my lack of grace if I tried wading like him I would fall down and drown).

Thank you very much, Robert. This fisherman had just caught 2 trout. A nice 65 degree, sunny day for fishing.

Even though this photo will not be as popular as my Osprey shots, I personally relate to a quiet,
serene and happy experience of photographing a fly fisherman having fun doing his or her thing.

Thank you very much, gregoryd45.

Regis, First landscape that I remember you posting (probably wrong) and I love it.

Love this beautiful scene. Even more jealous that you have captured a fisherman doing his thing. Love your Lake Coeur d' Alene area. So beautiful and serene plus lots of wildlife and the fall colors are coming out. Mahalo for sharing.

Nice. Catching the line in flight is probably the only thing that might have bettered this. Unless you caught the fly just landing on the water.

Regis. Now you've got me for sure. My nickname is last cast Mike because I alwAys need one last cast. Thanks for showing this. Looks like a great place to fish.
