Nice set of photos! Made several stops there in the late 1960's compliments of the U.S.Coast Guard. We used to put in at the naval base in Argentia to refuel and made a couple of stops in St. Johns. St. Johns always impressed me as having one of the best protected harbors I have ever seen and very friendly people. We've been to P.E.I, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in recent years, but have not ventured on to Newfoundland yet On my bucket list!
