I bought a new dji mavic 2 pro.. took it to the mountains it flew away, costing me a couple of grand. Sent my Nikon P900 to United Electronics Group in Elk Grove Village IL. gave them my credit card to do the repairs they quoted me. I think they closed their doors and went out of business with my camera, it’s gone. Our refrigerator went out, had to buy another one. Our Amtrak ticket was no good, train ran off track and would not be able to take me to Chicago. My rental basement flooded $$$. I too old for this kind of luck in one week!

Actually, the suggestion from UHH member ‘rgrenader’ may be a lot better than you think. Am sincerely sorry for your losses and your terrible string of unfortunate luck, but the odds grew more in your favor with every catastrophe. Go buy one or two Power Ball tickets today.

Wow. Sorry to hear. The good news is, as it is said.. "and it came, to pass". In months ahead, hopefully this week will be a good story to tell, albeit an expensive and stressful one to get through.

Regarding the business that closed their doors with your camera. Contact the federal bankruptcy court in the region and find out their bankruptcy docket. You may be able to get status as a preferred creditor and get your camera back.
