If the minions of the Ministry must go out, at least let them sail from that beautiful harbor and feed them well at the business on the shore both before and after their expeditions. That may keep the grumbling down a bit. Of course a little catnip spiked Joy Juice while on the mission wouldn't hurt, either.

The sun goes down on another summer season at the island home of the Ministry of Mayhem, somewhere here in Maine. The days are growing shorter, the nights growing colder. Soon no one but the hardiest of lobstermen will be out on that water. Except, of course, the heroic feline sailors of the mighty Ministry Fleet, ready at a moment's notice to sail into harm's way.

Okay, maybe two moments, as being quite truthful, they're really not too happy about going out in freezing weather, and sometimes it takes a little push to get them going.

Beautiful, perfect composition, nice reflections, great colors, a wall hanger for sure.

The image is very beautiful.

Thanks, Marty. Only thing that could make the shot more beautiful would be to have Madame P in it! But I guess we'll have to make do. LOL

Thanks for the very kind words and visit, always very much appreciated!

That’s a nice photo, it does look like the beginning of cold, and it take a good push to get me going in the cold, too, though I used to like it when I was young and foolish.

Thanks, John. I always look forward to the first snowfall of the year. And then that's it, bring on Spring, lol!

Maybe we'll have a mild one this year. One can only hope.

Thanks for the fun comments and your visit, always very much appreciated!

Thanks, DragonsLady. While the fearless felines of the Ministry venture out in all elements, my own crew is never allowed outdoors. It's not safe. Cars, coyotes, dogs, raptors, kids, diseases, poisonous plants, you name it. Not worth the risk.

But the Ministry kitties are never daunted by such dangers, and sally forth at the first hint of trouble! Mostly.

Thanks for the kind comments and your visit, always much appreciated!

Thanks, Mike. One of southern Maine's most beautiful harbors, and one of my favorite places to visit. Glad you enjoyed the shot.

Thanks, Flyerace. The world would be a boring place indeed without the Ministry's 'Tales of the Ridiculous.' At least, I think so, lol! Glad you have some fun reading them.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, I always appreciate it!
