The sun goes down on another summer season at the island home of the Ministry of Mayhem, somewhere here in Maine. The days are growing shorter, the nights growing colder. Soon no one but the hardiest of lobstermen will be out on that water. Except, of course, the heroic feline sailors of the mighty Ministry Fleet, ready at a moment's notice to sail into harm's way.
Okay, maybe two moments, as being quite truthful, they're really not too happy about going out in freezing weather, and sometimes it takes a little push to get them going.
Their not the only ones who will need a push.

Lol! Thanks, NMGal. You're not kidding! The cold weather isn't far off now, and other than the skiers, I don't know anyone who's looking forward to it. Certainly not the kitties of the Ministry!
Thanks for the laugh and your visit, it's much appreciated!
Thanks, Photog8. Glad you enjoyed the image, and thanks for your visit and those thumbs. Always appreciated!

The big chill is on the way...not fit for cat nor coon!!...great shot!!
Feline sailors are an unusual and heroic group but there must be limits, even for them! I hope they take advantage of any remaining fair weather since they have such a beautiful area for sailing!

Great shot Treepusher, loved the download
Well count your blessings that the Ministry will at least go outside. I've got a primadonna who hates outdoors and will take extreme measures to stay inside on a perfect day. lol The end of summer makes me sad, but your gorgeous image certainly doesn't. Absolutely beautiful work, Randy.
Maine...the way life should be, especially when kept safe by the Ministry fleet! Lovely scene, Randy.

Thanks, Bob. I’m holding out the hope that the powers that be will see fit to cancel Winter this year and move right ahead to Spring, starting January 1st. I’d be willing to cough up a couple of bucks to donate to that cause, too.
Thanks for your astute comments and visit, always much appreciated!
