Was using the Nikon D500 with the Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/4 lens.
1.) 1/2500, f/4.0, ISO 200
2.) 1/8000, f/4.0, ISO 200
3.) 1/1600, f/4.0, ISO 200
Additional cropping in post.
Amazing captures, even more amazing with a 200mm lens. Well done!!
Beautiful photos and so well captured!

All excellent. Seems like you are well versed and have already done a bunch of practice. Beautiful birds and all great captures.
Wow! I've always loved raptors...the beauty and majesty of these creatures...and you have caught all three majestically. I know you said the images were cropped, but still, with a 200 mm lens, you had to have been pretty close to capture these images with such detail. Can you share any secret(s) for getting that close to these independent birds? jack
Frank, with images so terrific, do you do any volunteer photography for “Birds of Prey” organization in Boise? Keep up the beautiful work and thanks for sharing.
