Thanks, Dan. It was a large spider. I don't recall seeing one like it before. And in a southern marsh at that. It's a wetland environment not usually associated with spiders.

Never seen an Egret eat insects before. Seen them eat snakes, young Muskrats(That was a Heron), Gosling and Ducklings. Glad they're only 3 feet tall. Great capture Kpmac.
