Wonderful shots of a Colorado iconic landmark. Great job!

Crystal Mill
Like the sots but was that truly the sky you had? If it was you got lucky. I have done so many scenic shots and had to add a new sky that I keep a sky shot file to use when the sky is all wrong.
Why is any sky wrong. The sky is the sky and is important in setting the mood of the scene.

Classic, classic, classic. I think you did as great a job as any of the old masters who has shot the mill. Bravo!

True. But with blue and yellow being complimentary colors, a shot of golden yellow leaves shows off better with a deep blue sky and puffy white clouds. I never change my skies, but I can see why others might.
