If you're looking for a new state to call home, you may want to avoid these fifteen. According to the FBI, they have the highest burglary rates.

Interesting, and I'm surprised at some of those listed.

I don't know how they figure those things; Id NEVER leave my car unlocked in southern California when I lived there but I certainly would in many parts of AL, KY, Ohio, etc.

Seems to simplistic to me.

Trump's states, with higher burglary rate more crime. Drug use would be up and unemployed would be up. People wanted money, how do you get it steal something to sell on the street. You don't need a PhD in criminology to under stand that.

Are you seriously saying that these states have higher burglary rates because of Trump?
That's the connection/causation?

Please tell me you can think more clearly than that.

How do you explain the high crime rates in cities controlled by Democrats for decades, like Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore etc.

pretty silly reason on which to base your choice - ignoring the fact that any crime rates will vary as much if not more within a state as between states, why not decide based on incidence of traffic accidents, rape, murder, etc etc

ignores more useful reasons like jobs, weather, outdoors & other recreation, schools, etc

New Mexico, Washington State and Nevada are blue states. Louisiana has a Democrat for governor.

Did you notice that most of these cities are run by Democrats? I have lived in or nearby some of the cities mentioned. Gangs and drugs are very high in these areas.

Somehow the FBI omitted New Jersey. They use tax forms instead of weapons.

Jerry,
The difference between highest and lowest states is negligible. .3%. What seems to be more important are the areas of population within a state. Densities of population is a greater component for likelihood of crime.
