I was heading home last night and ran across this scene on the Telluride Golf course. I had my Canon 70d with 70-200 lens and tripod in my car, which I carry around with me this time of year. Jumped out of the car, set up the tripod and camera and found out I didn't have an SD card in the camera. I am sure many of you have found yourselves in the same situation at some point. Yes, BIG BUMMER. At least I had my iphone, which brings home the photographers adage; "the best camera is the one you have with you." I expect to see more scenes like this during the next couple weeks.
Very nice capture! You did the right thing and used what you had.

Pick up a couple of new memory cards and throw them in your glove box so if it ever happens again you are covered. Nice image!
I just did the same thing recently. The card was still in the computer.
Very nice image, asimodulex!
