Awhile ago there was a lot of discussion (most of it complaining) about the delivery service from B&H changing from "Brown" to FedEx. I just received my second delivery via FedEx from B&H and I couldn't be more pleased. I made the on line order this past Friday very late or early Saturday, they packed and FedEx picked it up on Sunday and it was delivered here this afternoon (Wednesday). As a retired over the road driver I know that Fed didn't mess around with my box, it got here ASAP. Thanks B&H and thanks FedEx.

Ya, I forgot to mention, I live in Wisconsin. I can't say that Brown actually screwed up a delivery, it just seems I get my stuff delivered quicker via FedEx than Brown. USPS is spotty; can't really count on timely delivery.

Why do you call UPS (3 characters) Brown (5 characters) but you call FedEx, FedEx, not White?

No, the closest I've ever gotten to NASA is I've visited JPL once and know a number of people who have worked for JPL or at CALTECH, but no direct connection to NASA. Why would you ask?

The issue with USP F%#$ing up some of their deliveries in my area is seemingly because the streets in my area are arranged something like this

See my point? And it gets more complicated with smaller streets and ones that twist around in this same general area with more repeated numbers. Delivery people must know what actual street they are on, and read the signs.

LOL. I will be in about 16 Months. To our other home where that problem does not exists.

Oh, in my "text" graphic, the large open (####) space is a school.

I think issues with carriers is location dependent. For home deliveries, I prefer UPS. Where I live, the FedEx drivers are more likely to leave a package outside my door than UPS. I live across from a recreation center and, well, kids will be kids. For delivery to an alternate location, I like FedEx since they seem to have more alternate locations for pick up in Philadelphia than big brown.

There is no circumstance where I prefer USPS. Just none.

A while back I ordered from BnH. Arrived the next day via FedEx but 1 box was partially opened & , the size & weight of the box looked like it could of been a tablet. Also it was delivered by a private carrier in a rented truck. Nothing was missing but you could see where the shipping tape was cut to get a look inside.

FedEx can never find my house, not sure why. But they are piloting a new program in my area where undelivered packages are taken to the local Walgreens and held there for five days. Works out nicely. Last shipment from FedEx needed a signature so I had my son sit in my house all day long. It was logged as undeliverable but they never even tried.

I've had that trick played before. Northeast Ct does not have a close FEDX center, serves us from Willington and we are not a priority as evidenced by several lengthy delivery times. UPS services our area from Bozrah with numerous trucks in the northeast. Check I-395 in the morning between Norwich and Putnam!

But the pickup at Walgreens almost made up for the ineptitude of the driver. UPS always gets it right for me. Sometimes you just can't choose.

Are you talking about the intersection of Rt 12 and Rt 101? I'm in Plainfield.

Yes, they drop off at about 4 or 5. I'm in Dayville so a little easier for me. I'm not sure from which routes or towns they do this for.

Just curious. Like I stated earlier, there's never a big hurry. This is the "Quiet Corner!" LOL!

Actually for all of my photography needs I use the store Photo Connection in Colchester. Kind of makes me think of how much do I need something before driving to purchase it.
