Great place. Just about all of their employees are photographers, some even teach photography or lighting. Very knowledgeable people.

I have always been treated fairly there. Bought several lenses and other accessories from them.

They have been in Houston for MANY years. Used to be on Bissonnet prior to their current location which has been at least 10 years. I've dealt with them occasionally for about 30 years. They don't have the lowest pricing but are not out of line. I've never purchased used equipment from them, only new.

I purchased a Fujifilm X-T10 from them three years ago. They seemed quite knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to try different cameras to get the feel of them since I was switching from a DSLR to Mirrorless to save weight and size of my camera bag. I don't visit often due to the distance from my town to Houston.

I have purchased accessories from Houston Camera Exchange with 100% satisfaction. I would not hesitate to purchase a camera from them. Customer service and shipping was excellent.

I think they held a Nikon Z7 event a week or so ago. Good selection of accessories.

I spend much to much money there. Usually try them before I buy online. Bring your cell phone, pull up prices for something you are interested in on Amazon, and they will match the price. If you have a problem with an item you can take it back. I always check the used gear first. I picked up a couple of used pristine bodies with low shutter counts. I know they check them out before putting them out for sale. Good selection of accessories especially lighting. You can usually find someone knowledgeable about what you want to talk about, but that can be a little hit and miss.

Great old brick and mortar camera store that carries everything and then some more. Staff is very knowledgable. Camera and lens prices comparable to B & H. Considerable film inventory. Filters, tripods, bags and other miscellaneous gear considerable higher than B & H.
