Beautiful shot of an interesting bird. Isn't it nice to finally get some RAIN? ☺ Rbo36

Thank you. It is fantastic to finally get the rain. It is still raining as I type. It could rain all weekend as far as I am concerned. The crops need this so badly.

I'm afraid it might be a little late for the crops but my yard (can't hardly call it a lawn anymore) is actually starting to look green again.
We live by Middleville, MI and we have been getting rain most of yesterday afternoon through the night and it is still raining at almost 9:30 this morning., a nice gentle rain! Rbo36

There are places around us where the soil is light that no amount of rain will help. The alfalfa might make a third cutting though if the rain keeps up.

Nice shot, very sharp

Thank you, I was surprised at how sharp it was. I wish they would let me open the window, but the downy is pretty shy.

Nicely done, I like it. Feeder looks interesting.

Thank you. The feeder was one I bought at Lowes or Meijers . It is just a tube feeder with metal perches and canopies.

I know the road, have driven it a few times. We live north of Gun Lake with a Middleville address also.

Great shot. Good composition and lighting. You caught a little bit of a catchlight in the eye. If your doing any PP, you might try to enhance that a little bit. There also looks like there is a scratch just above seed in the birds mouth. Other than that,

Thank you.
Taking care of the "scratch" is no big deal, I think it is a streak of rain.
