The ants together are bigger than the spider. Hope other ants don't follow the (ant) trail and overwhelm the spider. Neat photo, though.

Great job; you must have been able to get very close without scaring it off. We have black jumping spiders up here in New England we pretty much leave them alone when we find one in the house. They don't spin webs so they don't create cobwebs and they're good predators for other insects that make their way inside. They're small and rather cute...until you see them up close like this.
