Some small sailboats have retractable centerboards, which likely explains why that one isn't on its side.

Very nice shot. I like the indigo sky. Given the number of airplane trails, just curious how long was your exposure. Also, was the light at the horizon from sunrise/sunset or from urban light? Finally, starting in the center, about half way up, and moving to the right, you appear to have captured the Big Dipper. Is that possible given the direction you were shooting? All in all, very interesting and satisfying.

I'm not sure....The water flows in and out every six hours...At this spot everything sits on sand at low tide...thanks my friend.
