It's Free Sunday for all to enjoy. Looks like summer was full of fun from the posts last week. If you have leftovers post them here or anything else you're proud of or need someone to help you with any quandary about something you've captured. I'm no expert but I know we have many good ones on this forum who don't mind sharing good advice and instruction.
This past week we received two large boxes via UPS from Omaha, NE. Dee's dad's younger brother passed many years ago, and her aunt is in failing health now. A niece on that side of the family let Dee know that there were photos and paintings from Dee's side of the family in the house they were selling and she would send them if we wanted them. Of course we wanted to at least look at them before placing in the circular file. I have used an ap on the iphone called "Photo Scan" from Google that I am very impressed with and thought I would share with you in case you haven't heard of it or tried it. For those who don't have a scanner it would be a very good alternative to capture and archive digital images of older family photos. These are some examples from the photo collection we received.
Dee's Grandparents, her dad is the middle child here.

I really like seeing fences in perspective.
Here's one I took a few mornings ago - found it under our porch.

Thanks, Sue! Something very compelling...repetition and perspective draw the eye!

The image doesn't do it justice - you should have seen it shining in the morning sun.
How's this for a driveway....
More repetition-thought this was an inviting entrance inspite of the gate!

That second one has a strangely esoteric appeal to me.
