I tried this and it just ruined my camera. I called a photo store and they said a DSLR had to have a mirror and they can not be converted.
Expecting that for some reason...
I was very careful when l took out the mirror, they think they might be able to fix it.

What???? This guy is a nut OR he destroyed a camera that was already dead so that he would be noticed. No one in his right mind would treat a camera like this!!!
Sorry for the bad advice shown in this video. I found this on the internet, so I thought it would work.

Disclaimer: No one said this guy was not a nut, did not want attention, or was in a right state of mind.

Hey, it's just a joke video. As soon as the guy get's out a pliers and starts ripping out the mirror, you've got to know this is not a legitimate method for converting a camera to mirrorless. Be cool!

Maybe you could tape a piece of aluminum foil inside the camera.

How was I supposed to know, I’m new here. I thought this mirrorless thing was new and this would improve my camera.

You mean to help reattach the mirror?
Please, Please Please, don't even think about doing this to anything but a junk camera. If you want mirrorless, but an entry level Sony or Panasonic, it will save you a ton of time and money.
Don't forget Fugi which I have and it is quite capable
