Hedgehoggers, Darrel Young right books on Nikon only?
I believe Young writes mostly Nikon book, with maybe a few Olympus thrown in. Busch writes for different camera brands...Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc.
For a list go to Rockynook.com. And you can look up both authors.

I am interested in buying a book for the d7200. There are 2 that I see on amazon with good ratings. On is by David Busch and the other by darrell young. Which would you suggest and why. And no, I am not going to buy both.
Thanks Hoggers for any help you can give me

I have bought David Busch’s books for all my cameras.
Highly recommend them.
Have no experience with Darrel’s book.

I bought a great instruction manual for my D7200 from manualsink.com.It's 389 large pages and covers everything.Well worth it.

I have books by both authors for d750, d500, d850 kindle editions. Have paperback copies d750 and the d500, I find I like Darrell Young better but you won't go wrong with either.
Blue Crane videos are specific to your camera and cover every aspect of it from from to back . Worth it.

I have the Darrell Young book on my Kindle and have found it to be excellent at taking you through the camera and explaining the features and settings. As someone else mentioned, he tells you what he uses and why which is very helpful. If you don't have it, I would also recommend that you get Steve Perry's Secrets to the Nikon AF system. You will learn more about your camera and one of its most important functions than you will ever learn on your own. I added this one to my Kindle as a pdf file and that way I have both of them on my Kindle on my phone for reference anytime it's needed.
You might also consider Nikon D7200 Experience by Doug Klostermann:
http://www.fullstopbooks.com/nikon-d7200-experience/It's available as a PDF download or an e-book for $14.99 each. I just got it for my Canon 5d Mk IV and I find it easier to find what I'm looking for than I did with David Busch's books (I had his D7000 book).
Good luck!
Thanks everyone for your input. I have decided on an bought mr. Young’s book as a kindle. Looking forward to every word. Will probably buy Steve Perry’s book too

I have used David Busch reference books for a D5000, D7000 and now the D7200; find they are thorough, great suggestions
and easy to understand.
